Johannes Koebberling

Johannes Koebberling is a highly experienced Senior Science Fellow at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, having been with the company since April 2002. In this role, Johannes leads labs focused on conjugation chemistries for antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and lipid nanoparticle (LNP) chemistry, including the development of novel lipids. Johannes has also served in multiple senior research roles, including Project Scientific Lead for Bayer Animal Health and a lab head in medicinal chemistry. Additionally, Johannes acted as a Scientific Advisor for Vincerx Pharma between January 2021 and December 2023, overseeing the synthesis of ADCs and SMDCs. Academic qualifications include a PostDoctoral position as Group Leader in Combichem from Imperial College London and a PhD in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University.
