North America Vegetable Quality Lab Lead at Bayer

Pu Wei currently serves as the North America Vegetable Quality Lab Lead at Bayer since August 2018, also holding the title of Analytical Chemist/Scientist II. Prior experience includes working as an Analytical Chemist at Monsanto Company from August 2016 to August 2018, where Pu Wei led analytical support for EPA registration of novel active ingredients from development to commercialization. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry obtained from Purdue University (2010-2016), a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from New Mexico State University (2008-2010), and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Sichuan University (2006-2008). Additionally, Pu Wei's research experience encompasses method development in ambient ionization mass spectrometry and various applications, including the analysis of herbicide formulations and contaminants in drinks.
