Thomas Jacxsens is an experienced professional with a robust background in product supply and operational leadership within the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Currently serving as the Site Lead and Head of Product Supply Pharmaceuticals China at Bayer, Thomas manages strategic initiatives to enhance capital investment and production efficiency. Previous roles at Bayer include Vice President M&A HSE, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing health, safety, and environmental aspects during transactions. Prior to Bayer, Thomas spent 15 years at Covestro, leading various functions from head of PUR production and technology to project and investment management, demonstrating a strong ability to drive strategic projects and cross-cultural negotiations. Educationally, Thomas holds a Master of Science in Mechanical & Electrotechnical Engineering from Ghent University and an Executive MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
