Thorsten Schwindt

Thorsten Schwindt is the Vice President of Commercial Operations Americas Pacific (AMPAC) at Bayer Vegetable Seeds, where they lead sales, marketing, and product development for the Seminis and De Ruiter brands. With over 20 years of experience in seeds and crop protection, Thorsten has successfully managed various businesses through significant changes while building high-performing teams. They have held multiple leadership roles within Bayer, including Chief of Staff for Central America and the Caribbean, and Country Division Head in Thailand. Thorsten is passionate about Bayer's mission of "Health for All, Hunger for None" and contributes to the community as a board member of Seed St. Louis. Thorsten holds a Diplom Kaufmann in International Management from the University of Hamburg and has completed several executive training programs.
