Dr. Markus Wiegelmann

Dr. Markus Wiegelmann is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within BayernLB since September 2004, where responsibilities have included serving as Mitglied des Vorstandes (CFO/COO), Bereichsleiter Group Controlling, and Bereichsleiter Risk Office / Restructuring Unit. Previous experience includes significant positions at Deutsche Bank from July 1998 to August 2004, including Gruppen- und Teamleiter Credit Risk Management and Credit Analyst. Educational qualifications include a Dr. rer. nat. in Mathematics from the Technical University of Munich, a Diplom in Mathematics from RWTH Aachen University, and completion of the Executive Management Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2011.
