Leopold Schiele, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Leopold started their career as an intern at KPMG Deutschland in 2009, where they worked in the Audit Corporate Department. In the same year, they also interned at Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH (ZEW), in the Research Group Growth and Business Cycles. In 2009, they also interned at the Deutsche Bundesbank in their Department for Statistics.

Leopold's career then transitioned to Deutsche Bank in 2012, where they worked as an intern in the Research Team Macroeconomics. After that, they joined BayernLB in 2014 as part of their Trainee Program in Risk Analysis and Restructuring. Leopold then progressed to become an Assistant Vice President in International Project Finance and Credit Risk from 2016 to 2018. Leopold later took on the role of Executive Assistant CFO/COO from 2019 to 2021 before assuming their current position as Head of Financial Planning & Management Reporting at BayernLB.

Leopold Schiele, CFA, holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in International Economics and Finance from the University of Tübingen, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they pursued an exchange program at Chulalongkorn University from 2012 to 2013, studying M.A. in International Economics and Finance. Prior to that, Schiele completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration and Economics from Universität Passau between 2007 and 2011. Leopold also participated in an exchange program at Università degli Studi di Perugia in 2010, focusing on Facoltà di Economia. In 2018, Schiele obtained their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute.
