Robert Hetzner has a diverse work experience in the finance and real estate industries. Robert began their career in 1999 as a Bankkaufmann at HypoVereinsbank - UniCredit Bank AG and later worked as a Working Student International Corporate Banking. Robert also had internships at Munich Re (Group) and HypoVereinsbank - UniCredit Bank AG in corporate banking and life/health insurance.
In 2003, Hetzner joined Dr. Wieselhuber & Partner GmbH for an internship in corporate finance. Robert then worked as an Assistant at Munich University of Applied Sciences (Finance) from 2003 to 2005.
Hetzner joined BayernLB in 2005 as a Trainee in International Real Estate Finance and later became a Transaction Manager in the same department. Robert then moved to MEAG in 2008 as a Senior Portfolio Manager in Real Estate. Robert managed various asset classes such as interest-bearing securities, equities, real estate, renewable energies, and infrastructure.
Returning to BayernLB in 2019, Hetzner took on the role of Vice President, International Real Estate Finance. Robert then transitioned to Vice President, Real Estate Finance South Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In this role, they provided comprehensive support and expertise to clients in various asset classes and met their real estate financing needs.
Robert Hetzner obtained an Executive Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Regensburg, International Real Estate Business School in 2010. Prior to that, they completed a Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH), comparable to a Bachelor Honors degree, in Business Administration with a focus on Banking, Finance, and Investment from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences between 2003 and 2005.
