Martin Hermann

Martin Hermann, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Division for the Digital Library and the Munich Digitization Centre at the Bavarian State Library, where responsibilities include digital preservation and serving as the Deputy Department Head for the Digital Library and Bavarica. Prior roles at the Bavarian State Library involved project management of the STERN Photo Archive and assistance to the general directorate. Martin's earlier experience includes work as a library trainee at the Badische Landesbibliothek and as a research assistant at the University of Freiburg. Martin holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Freiburg, completed in 2013, and a Staatsexamen in English Language and Literature and Political Science, obtained in 2006.
