Stefanie Gentner

Stefanie Gentner has extensive experience in media and communications, currently serving in the Social Media Team within Unternehmenskommunikation at Bayerischer Rundfunk since October 2009. Stefanie has held various roles including Teamlead of the Digitalteam Ausland und politischer Hintergrund and has contributed to the BR Next Redaktion on platforms such as TikTok. Prior work includes journalism at BR24 and roles at several other notable media companies including Landeshauptstadt München as a freelance editor, DROSTE Verlag as a co-author, and positions at Axel Springer SE and Süddeutsche Zeitung. Additionally, Stefanie has a background in tennis coaching and previously worked as a press intern at Siemens. Educational credentials include a Magister degree in Italian, Politics, and Law from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, earned between 2004 and 2008.
