Niels Benson

Niels Benson is an experienced professional in innovation management and digital learning, currently serving as Senior Innovation Manager (Assets) and Senior Expert for Corporate Digital Learning at Bayernwerk since March 2021. In addition, Niels has been a freelance lecturer on digitalization in corporate customer business and business models at Sparkassenverband Niedersachsen since October 2017. With a career spanning over two decades, Niels has worked as a freelancer since November 2001, focusing on market strategies and innovations for various notable clients, including IKEA Deutschland and Volkswagen. Previous roles include Head of Business Development & Ecommerce at Klaus Steilmann GmbH & Co. Kg, where Niels led digitalization strategies and project management initiatives. Earlier experience includes positions at Scholz & Friends, FCB Hamburg, and ip20 AG. Niels Benson holds a degree from FH Lüneburg (Leuphana), completed in 1995.
