Terry Murphy has held various executive roles in the healthcare industry throughout their career. Terry started as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Wuesthoff Health Systems, Inc. in 1982, where they served until 1999. Terry then joined Southern Maryland Hospital Center as Vice President in 2000, before moving on to Bayhealth Medical Center in 2001 as the Executive Vice President & COO. In 2009, they were promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer at Bayhealth Medical Center, a role they currently hold.

Terry Murphy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Belmont Abbey College in 1982. From 1982 to 1985, they pursued their Master of Health Services Administration degree in Healthcare Administration at The George Washington University.
