Alexandre Mergnat

Alexandre Mergnat has a diverse work experience in embedded software engineering and system design. From 2019, they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at BayLibre, where they provided support for client products' development, including Linux integration and bring-up for NVidia platform, implementation of Zephyr Userspace and Stack guard feature for RISC-V architecture, Yocto build for custom boards, robustifying connectivities under Linux, and various driver implementations.

Prior to that, from 2017 to 2019, Alexandre worked as an Embedded System Engineer at engIT. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at Rifft from 2016 to 2017, where they were responsible for the development and integration of a smart band, including software design, sensor drivers, and connectivity implementation.

Alexandre also has experience working at Intel Corporation, where they served as an Energy management and connectivity consultant for the NDG group from 2014 to 2016. In this role, they were involved in the development and integration of wireless charging technology and power management in embedded systems.

Before that, they had an internship at Intel Corporation, specifically on wireless charging prototype development for smartphones using Rezence technology in 2014. Alexandre also gained experience in modem design on FPGA at Polytech'Nice-Sophia in 2013 and participated in the development of an operating interface for a radio propagation simulator at Direction générale de l'armement in 2013.

Further back in their career, Alexandre worked as an Android Software Designer at Maxim Integrated in 2012. Alexandre also undertook various projects during their time at Polytech'Nice-Sophia, including the design of an Android application similar to Instagram and a card game design in 2012.

Additionally, Alexandre has experience in PLC programming and installation, having worked at Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur in 2011.

Alexandre Mergnat obtained their DUT in Électronique from IUT de Nice, where they attended from 2009 to 2011. Following this, they pursued their Engineering degree in Embedded System (GSE) from Polytech'Nice-Sophia, attending the institution from 2011 to 2014.
