Rosy then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Environmental Engineering at Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey from 1991 to 1993. Continuing their education, Rosy obtained their pHD in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in chemicals and energy recovery of biomass waste materials from Laval University in Quebec, Canada, between 1994 and 2000.
