Amy Kizer Cuellar

Amy Kizer Cuellar, PhD, ABSMIP, is an accomplished clinical psychologist and academic with extensive experience in higher education and clinical settings. Since August 2005, Amy has held various positions at Baylor College of Medicine, currently serving as an Associate Professor. Concurrently, Amy has been a Clinical Psychologist at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center since 2007, where responsibilities include leadership roles in the Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center. Additionally, Amy operates a private practice through Neurocognitive Specialty Group, LLC, since 2020. Previous experience includes a fellowship in Mental Illness Research and Treatment at the VA Medical Center and an internship at James A. Haley VA Hospital. Educational credentials include a PhD and MS in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami and a BA in Psychology from Southwestern University.
