Ed Gala

Ed Gala has an extensive work experience in various marketing and communications roles. Ed is currently the Vice President of Brand Marketing & Communications at Baylor Genetics, a position they started in 2023. Prior to this, they served as the SVP & Chief Brand and Communications Officer at Myriad Genetics from 2020 to 2022.

Before their role at Myriad Genetics, Ed worked at Philips, where they held multiple leadership positions. Ed was the Vice President of Brand, Communications, Digital & Events Marketing - NA from 2017 to 2020. Ed was also the Vice President of Global Experiential Marketing, Events & Sponsorships from 2015 to 2016 and the Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications, Philips Healthcare from 2013 to 2014.

Ed's earlier experience includes roles at Xerox, where they served as the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, U.S. Client Operations from 2010 to 2013. Ed also held positions as the Vice President of Global Experiential Marketing from 2008 to 2010, Vice President of Corporate Marketing Services from 2007 to 2008, and Director of Worldwide Strategic Public Relations and General Markets/Channels from 1994 to 2007.

Ed began their career as an Account Manager at Young & Rubicam from 1989 to 1993.

Ed Gala received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Syracuse University. In 2012, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Xerox.
