Laura Prekosovich

Laura Prekosovich is an experienced professional in the fields of genomics and public health. Currently serving as Associate Product Manager and Diagnostic Assay Development Project Manager at Baylor Genetics since May 2022, Laura has previously held the role of Remote Consultant for the World Health Organization, where responsibilities included analyzing and revising genomics eLearning projects to support healthcare workers globally. A former Cancer Genetic Counseling Assistant at Ascension, Laura also contributed to genomics education as a Human Genomics Intern, creating training materials for healthcare workers in underserved regions. Laura's research background includes work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Taylor Lab, focusing on DNA promoter sequences in zebrafish. Educated at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Laura has a solid foundation in both practical and research-oriented approaches to genomics.
