Sifiso Mpanza

Sifiso Mpanza is an experienced telecommunications professional with a strong background in network planning and transmission engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Network Planning at Bayobab since July 2022, Sifiso is involved in incident, fault, problem, and change management within the Technology Operations Transmission Back Office Team. Prior roles include Optical Transport Specialist and Core and Aggregation Transmission Planning Specialist at Cell C, where Sifiso focused on DWDM/OTN planning and transmission network design. Experience also includes transmission engineering at Huawei, with responsibilities in project delivery for optical networks, and at BLU by Adcorp, where Sifiso managed installations and maintenance of DWDM/SDH products. Educational credentials include an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering in Telecommunications from the University of South Africa and studies at the University of the Witwatersrand.
