Stephen Horton

Stephen Horton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the hemp and cannabis industry. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Bayou City Hemp Company since May 2020, Stephen focuses on innovating and automating operations, quality assurance, and product development, particularly in areas such as beverages and effect-based cannabis remedies. Previous roles include Chief Innovation Officer, Vice President of Operations, General Manager, and Director of Operations at Bayou City Hemp, where Stephen oversaw research and development, inventory management, and operational efficiency. Earlier positions include Cannabis Extraction Consultant at CannaSci Services, Principal Scientist at Washington Solutions/Orca, and Production Manager at Crested Butte Cannabis. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Austin.
