Craig Zuidema

Craig Zuidema is currently the Vice President of Consumer Lending at BayPort Credit Union. Craig has over 18 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on lending and insurance.

Craig started their career in August 1996 as an Account Manager and Lending Specialist for CUNA Mutual Group. In these roles, they were responsible for lending-related insurance programs, as well as training and consultation on lending processes, products, and several other insurance-based needs.

In November 2005, Craig transitioned to ABNB FCU as the Vice President of Lending. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of the lending department, including loan origination, processing, underwriting, and closing. Craig also oversaw the development and implementation of new lending products and services.

In March 2014, Craig joined BayPort Credit Union as the Vice President of Consumer Lending. In this role, they are responsible for leading the consumer lending team in originating and servicing a variety of loan products, including auto loans, personal loans, and home equity loans. Craig also oversees the credit union’s Indirect Lending program.

Craig is a dedicated and experienced financial professional who is committed to providing excellent service to their members. Craig has a deep understanding of the lending process and is always looking for ways to improve the credit union’s lending offerings.

Craig Zuidema's educational career began with him obtaining their B.S.B.A in finance from Old Dominion University. Craig then went on to obtain their M.B.A in accounting from the same school. After working in the field for a few years, they decided to go back to school and obtained their Certified Credit Union Executive Designation from CUNA & Affiliates.
