Amy Starmer

Amy Starmer, MD, MPH, currently serves as the Division Chief of General Pediatrics and Chief Quality Officer at Baystate Health's Baystate Children's Hospital since August 2023. Previously, Amy held multiple roles at Boston Children's Hospital from February 2014 to August 2023, including Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Associate Medical Director of Quality Improvement, and Director of Primary Care Quality Improvement. Additional experience includes positions at OHSU as an Assistant Professor and K12 Scholar, and at Harvard Medical School as an Instructor. Earlier in the career, Amy completed a Pediatric Health Services Research Fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital and served as an HHMI-NIH Research Scholar. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Harvard University and a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, alongside a Bachelor of Science from Haverford College.
