Michael Knapik

Michael Knapik is an experienced leader in government and community relations, currently serving as Vice President of Government & Community Relations at Baystate Health since February 2018. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Director of the Western Massachusetts Office of the Governor from July 2016 to February 2018 and served as Executive Director of University Advancement at Westfield State University from August 2013 to July 2016. With a lengthy tenure in public service, Michael was a State Senator and State Representative in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from January 1991 to August 2013. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross and has additional education from Suffolk University.
