Nelson Schexnayder

Nelson Schexnayder is a Senior Landman with over 20 years of experience in the energy industry's upstream and midstream sectors. Currently, Nelson serves as a Senior Landman at Baytex Energy Corp. and Ranger Oil Corporation, while also providing consulting services as a Senior Land Advisor. Previous positions include Senior Staff Landman and Land Advisor at Hunt Oil Company, as well as consulting roles at Century Exploration Houston, LLC and various other companies. Nelson possesses strong collaboration skills, having successfully managed vendor relationships and negotiated contracts across multiple departments and locations. Education was obtained at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1994 to 1998.
