Nicole Frechette

Nicole Frechette is currently the Vice President of the Light Oil Business Unit at Baytex Energy Corp. since August 2021, leading the Subsurface, Development, and Operations teams for various plays including Duvernay, Viking, and Eagleford. Prior to this role, Nicole held multiple positions at Repsol from June 2015 to August 2021, including Subsurface Development Manager for the Canada Business Unit and focused on optimizing reservoir exploitation plans and monitoring asset performance. Nicole's earlier experience includes a decade at Talisman Energy where roles ranged from Reservoir Engineer to Development Engineering Lead, contributing to field development planning, reservoir simulations, and resource evaluations. Nicole earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a major in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Petroleum from the University of Calgary.
