Angela Caras has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Angela began their career as a law clerk at the Texas Civil Rights Project, where they handled case intake, memo writing, and prepared legal documents. Angela then worked as an investigations clerk at the Texas Residential Construction Commission, ensuring builders complied with regulations and addressing citizen concerns. Angela also engaged in copy editing and writing roles at AustinGrid.com and Allandale Neighbor.

In 2011, Angela started their own business, Austin Time Savers, offering errand-running services, personal assistance, and more. Angela ran the business until 2013. Angela then joined Bazaarvoice, starting as a content manager and becoming an authenticity analyst. In this role, they utilized software to analyze user-generated content and identify fraudulent transactions. Angela later transitioned to the position of lead coach, with responsibilities including fraud and data analysis, client audits, and training new agents. Angela most recently served as a fraud data analyst and fraud operations analyst at Bazaarvoice.
