Anneka D'Cruz (Née, Anand) has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Anneka currently holds the role of Chief of Staff, Senior Director of Technology Strategy & Operations at Bazaarvoice, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Shopify, where they served as Chief of Staff - Strategic Initiatives, providing strategic assistance to department leaders and leading daily operations for the VP of Commercial R&D. Anneka also held roles such as Lead, Strategy & Operations - Commercial R&D, where they built business operations and implemented process improvements, and Lead, Retail Launch Engineering (Customer Onboarding), where they led customer onboarding strategies.

Before joining Shopify, Anneka worked at Nature's Way as Director, National Sales, leading the go-to-market strategy for the Specialty Retail & Practitioner business. Anneka also served as Sr. Manager, National Key Accounts - Food, Drug, Mass, ECommerce, where they built go-to-market strategies and teams for various channels.

Earlier in their career, Anneka worked at Protenergy Natural Foods Corp., a TreeHouse Foods Company, as Manager, Key Accounts and Analyst, Sales & Marketing, where they achieved significant sales growth and launched new products. Anneka also held roles at Canadian Tire as Assistant, Category Manager - Auto Car Care and Accessories, QuickPlay Media as Co-ordinator, Marketing and Channel Marketing, and Pepsi Bottling Group as Analyst, Sales & Category Management - Large Accounts.

Anneka D'Cruz (Née, Anand) attended Turner Fenton Secondary School from 2001 to 2005, where they pursued the International Baccalaureate program. Following that, they enrolled at Wilfrid Laurier University from 2005 to 2009 and obtained a BBA degree with a specialization in Marketing. During their time at Wilfrid Laurier University, they also participated in a co-op program, gaining practical experience in their chosen field of study.
