Jakub Ciesielski

Client Design Lead, EMEA & APAC at Bazaarvoice

Jakub Ciesielski has a diverse work experience in the field of design and development. Jakub started their career as a Freelance Web Designer, where they designed and coded small business websites, multi-language brochure/portfolio websites, and created ads and promotional banners. From 2006 to 2009, they worked at Digivate as a Web Designer/Front End Developer, where they were responsible for designing and coding e-commerce websites, CMS websites, blogs, microsites, and newsletters. Jakub also focused on web usability, accessibility, and search engine optimization. At Digital River, starting from 2009, Jakub worked as a Creative Designer, collaborating with the Strategic Marketing EMEA department to develop cutting-edge solutions for paid search, affiliate, and email marketing. Jakub also conducted extensive A/B and multivariate testing for large global brands. In 2010, Jakub joined Bazaarvoice as an Implementation Designer, where they guided clients through the implementation process from a design and technical perspective, specifically for social commerce products, Facebook and mobile apps, and newsletters. From 2013 to 2021, they held the role of Senior Sales Designer at Bazaarvoice, supporting the Sales team by providing creative materials for prospective clients and designing user experience mockups. Recently, they transitioned to the role of Client Design Lead, EMEA & APAC at Bazaarvoice.

Jakub Ciesielski started their education in 2001 at the Wroclaw University of Technology, where they pursued a Master of Engineering degree in the Faculty of Information Technology and Marketing. Jakub successfully completed their studies in 2006. From 2006 to 2008, Jakub attended the Swidnica University of Tele-information Technologies to obtain another Master of Engineering degree, this time in the Faculty of Computer Science (extramural studies). In 2018, they enrolled in postgraduate studies at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, specializing in Project Management. It is unknown when this postgraduate program will end as there is no end year specified.

In addition to their formal education, Jakub has obtained several certifications. In December 2000, they obtained the First Certificate in English (FCE) from the University of Cambridge. Later, in December 2018, they earned the PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Furthermore, they also hold the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from the University of Cambridge, obtained in December 2000.
