Jean Hanna has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as an Officer in the LC/LG section of BBAC s.a.l, where they issued import letters of credit and guarantees, conducted thorough checks of documents for compliance, and ensured adherence to credit terms and UCP600. From 2011 to 2014, they served as the Head of the Letters of Guarantee Section at BBAC s.a.l, responsible for reviewing applications, coordinating with credit officers, examining documents, and releasing payments for Standby Letters of Credit and Letters of Guarantee. In 2014, they joined BBAC as the Deputy Head of Operations for their Iraq Branches.
Jean Hanna received a Specialized Diploma and a B.A in Banking Studies from Universite Saint-Joseph USJ Campus of Social Sciences, which they completed between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A in Accounting and Finance from Lebanese University from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Jean Hanna has also obtained certifications in International Trade and Finance (CITF) from ifs School of Finance UK in November 2013 and in Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) from IFS School of Finance UK in May 2010.
