Layal Bechara has a significant amount of experience in the banking industry. Layal began their career at Bank Audi as a Trade Finance Officer from March 2007 to June 2008. Layal then joined Byblos Bank Group as the Deputy Head of the Foreign Entities Section from August 2008 to October 2010. Layal then transitioned to BBAC Bank, where they held the role of Deputy Head of Trade Finance from November 2010 to June 2016. Layal then advanced to become the Head of Trade Finance at BBAC Bank, where they currently work.
Layal Bechara obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Notre Dame University - Louaize (NDU) from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Brummana High School from 1984 to 1999, where they received an English baccalaureate with a focus on philosophy.
