Matthew Thompson

Matthew Thompson is an accomplished showrunner, writer, and director with extensive experience in the film and television industry. Currently serving as the showrunner for a VFX landmark series at BBC Studios Ltd since October 2020, Thompson also wrote and directed the feature-length special "Dinosaurs - the Final Day with David Attenborough." Previously, Thompson worked as series editor for the mega-budget series "Limitless" at Nutopia and held the role of creative director at Double Shot Films. Notable past projects include directing "March of the Dinosaurs," producing an episode for "Discovery Project Earth," and directing the two-part series finale of ITV's "Primeval."
