David Jordan

David Jordan is the Director of Editorial Policy and Standards at BBC. David has held this position since November 2003. Prior to this, they were the Executive Producer of Political Programmes at BBC from April 1988 to November 2003. David was also the Editor of On the Record from July 2002 to November 2003. In addition, they were the Executive Producer of The Politics Show on BBC 1 from July 2002 to November 2003. David has also worked as a researcher and producer at London Weekend Television from October 1984 to April 1988. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Officer at GMB from January 1980 to September 1984.

David Jordan studied economics and politics at the University of Bristol before attending Latymer Upper School.

David Jordan reports to Tim Davie, Director General. They work with Deborah Turness - CEO, BBC News & Current Affairs, Leigh Tavaziva - Group Chief Operating Officer & Director, and Kerris Bright - Chief Customer Officer.
