Julia Tena de la Nuez

Julia Tena de la Nuez is an accomplished broadcast and print journalist with extensive experience at the BBC, where roles include Broadcast Journalist for BBC Radio 5 Live and Print Journalist at BBC Mundo since August 2017. Julia's prior experience includes serving as Assistant Press Officer for SickOfWaiting, where responsibilities involved media outreach and press release writing, and working as a freelance writer and consultant for Not For Tourists, Inc. Julia was also part of the founding team at El Español, covering significant elections and political developments. In earlier roles, Julia contributed to Amnesty International as a Human Rights Education Communications Intern and served as a Political Correspondent for Shout Out UK. Julia holds an LLM Qualifying Law Degree from Birkbeck, University of London, a Master of Politics and Communication from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in History and Politics from Lancaster University.
