Shaun Belders

Shaun Belders is the current Chief Information Security Officer at BBDO. Prior to this, they served as the Director of 3rd Party Information Security Risk at Bloomberg LP from January 2015 to October 2017. At Bloomberg, Shaun was responsible for revamping the atrophied security program by building a team of analysts who worked across the enterprise to evaluate high risk and critical vendors. Shaun also created policies and standards around 3rd party information risk and developed a risk framework for cataloging and tracking risks that aligned with business goals. In addition, Shaun had the global responsibility for annual PCI compliance certification for Bloomberg LP.

From October 2011 to January 2015, Shaun Belders served as Vice President at Roka Security, LLC. In this role, they were responsible for providing executive leadership and direction for all aspects of the company’s managed security services business. Additionally, they oversaw the technical teams responsible for developing and delivering these services to customers.

Prior to their time at Roka Security, Shaun Belders was Managing Principal at Tresys Technology from August 2010 to November 2011. In this role, they were responsible for providing technical leadership for the company as well as managing staff and projects.

Shaun Belders has an MBA from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business with a focus in strategy and information technology. Shaun also has a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona. In addition, they are certified by (ISC)² in CISSP and by PMI in Project Management Professional (PMP).

Their manager is Andrew Robertson, President & CEO. They work with Jason Rosario - Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, David Lubars - Chief Creative Officer.
