Mario Gualano

Mario Gualano is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the diagnostics and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Non Executive Director at Q-linea since July 2020 and CEO at BBI Solutions since August 2017, Mario has held significant leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific from January 2009 to December 2016, including President and Vice President for Specialty Diagnostics Asia Pacific. Responsibilities included overseeing the APAC region's diagnostics business and driving growth strategies across various countries. Mario holds an MBA from Henley Business School, a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Wales, Cardiff, and a BSc Hons in Applied Biology from the same institution.
