Sunil Parthasarathy

Sunil Parthasarathy currently serves as the Head of Research and Development for Recombinant at BBI Solutions, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this role, Sunil was a Technical Leader at Almac Group from September 2020 to May 2023 and held the position of Scientist-III at Aurobindo Pharma between July 2015 and May 2020, where responsibilities included managing a team for recombinant protein production and developing purification strategies. Sunil also served as a Scientist-II, focusing on molecular biology and protein purification, with expertise in fermentation optimization and bioinformatics. Sunil earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Hyderabad and has additional educational credentials in biochemistry and plant biology from the University of Mysore. Sunil’s research experience includes a fellowship at the University of Dundee and spans a rich background in analytical development, GLP/GMP implementation, and process optimization.
