Duane Bolinger has extensive work experience in various roles and positions in the automotive industry. Duane started their career at General Motors in 1989, where they worked as the Global Manufacturing Planning Manager until 1991. Duane then held several positions at General Motors, including Purchasing Director, Director of Information Technology - Purchasing & Production Control, and Director of Strategic Planning - Worldwide Purchasing. In 1999, they joined Delphi Automotive Systems as the Global Purchasing Director before becoming the Global Business Line Executive. From 2004 to 2006, Bolinger served as the Managing Director, Asia Pacific at Delphi Automotive. Duane then joined BBK in 2008 as the Managing Director and General Manager - Asia Pacific. Throughout their career, Bolinger has demonstrated leadership and expertise in finance, strategic planning, purchasing, and management.

Duane Bolinger has a diverse educational background. Duane completed their undergraduate studies at Indiana University Bloomington from 1971 to 1976, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Economics. Later, from 1979 to 1982, they attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Finance.
