Verena Borecky

Verena Borecky is a research assistant at BBMRI-ERIC since August 2022, focusing on EU projects related to ethical, legal, and societal issues. Previously, Verena worked as an exhibition and program curator at Grazer Kunstverein from December 2020 to July 2022 and served as a lecturer at KU Linz from October 2021 to February 2022. Additional experience includes art education roles at Steirischer Herbst Festival GmbH and Universalmuseum Joanneum, as well as curatorial assistance at Künstlerhaus, Halle für Kunst & Medien KM. Verena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and a Master of Arts in English and American Studies from the University of Graz, along with studies at Seattle University and The Manchester Metropolitan University.
