Elaine McNeil-Girmai, Ed.D, currently serves as the Director of the Teacher Training Institute and Educator Development at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School and as the Special Projects Lead for African American Programs at Primary Source, both positions held since July 2022. In addition, Elaine McNeil-Girmai has been an Associate Lecturer at Curry College since July 2017. Previous roles include Elementary Principal at Milton Public Schools from 2013 to 2022, Academic Director at Explore Schools from 2011 to 2013, and Educational Consultant at Teaching Matters from 2010 to 2011. Elaine McNeil-Girmai has held other educational roles, such as Dean of Students at Uncommon Schools and Founding Teacher at New Heights Charter School, among others. Academic achievements include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Loyola Marymount University, a Master's degree in Elementary Education from UMass Boston, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology from Boston College.
