Stefanie Funk

Stefanie Funk is an experienced professional in the field of automation and controls engineering, currently serving as the Director of Automation at BBP since October 2017, where Stefanie has also held the roles of Process Automation Team Lead and Senior Controls Engineer. Prior to BBP, Stefanie was employed at Hargrove Engineers + Constructors as a Controls and Automation Engineer, leading various controls projects including significant upgrades of DCS systems. Stefanie's earlier experiences include internships and co-op positions at SABIC and KBR, Inc., where key contributions involved optimizing process controls and improving operational efficiency. Stefanie holds a Master of Business Administration in Information Technology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering with a focus on Mathematics from The University of Alabama.
