Mike Plaster

Mike Plaster, CFA has a diverse work experience that spans over the course of several years. Mike is currently holding the position of Director, Financial Projects | Corporate Development at BBTV since November 2018. Prior to this, Mike was Manager, Strategy & Corporate Development | Assistant Treasurer at Maxar Technologies from August 2016 to November 2018. Mike also served as a Strategic Communications Advisor (contract) at Alterra Power Corp. from May 2016 to August 2016. Before that, Mike held various roles at Salman Partners Inc., including Vice President & Co-Director Equity Research, Equity Analyst, and Research Associate from June 2013 to December 2015, June 2006 to December 2015, and July 2004 to June 2006, respectively. Mike began their career as an Assistant Portfolio Manager at Dixon Mitchell Investment Counsel from June 2003 to July 2004 and worked as a Financial Adviser, Imperial Service at CIBC from July 1999 to May 2003.

Mike Plaster, CFA holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Finance (with Honours) from The University of British Columbia. Mike is also a CFA Charterholder, having obtained certification from the CFA Institute. Additionally, Mike has completed the Canadian Securities Course with Honours from the Canadian Securities Institute.
