Carlos Esteban Hidalgo Castro

Carlos Esteban Hidalgo Castro is a seasoned data architect and leader with extensive experience in data modeling, architecture, and analytics across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Data Architect Leader at BBVA in Peru since August 2019, Carlos focuses on data model validation and analytics using Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch, while also sharing best practices with project teams. Previously, Carlos amassed significant experience at IBM from March 2007 to July 2019, contributing to high-profile projects such as the data warehouse implementations for Banorte bank, Suntrust bank, and RIMAC insurance company, among others. Carlos holds a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Nacional del Callao and is currently furthering education at Datio Academy America.
