Carlos Corcóstegui

Carlos Corcóstegui is currently involved in Capital Operations Strategy for Global ALM at BBVA, where they design and issue various capital instruments and participate in internal regulatory groups. Previously, Carlos worked as an Economist at BBVA, focusing on the restructuring of the Spanish financial system and corporate transactions, as well as at the Bank of Spain, where they validated credit risk models and worked on operational risk. Carlos also served as Secretary at CEBS, contributing to assessments of major European banks during critical financial events. They hold a Master in Economics and Finance from Centro de Estudios Monetarios y Financieros and a Degree in Economics and Business from Universidad Comercial de Deusto.
