Emiliano Martinez Sanchez

Emiliano Martinez Sanchez is an experienced Artificial Intelligence Researcher specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning. Currently leading the NLP initiative at BBVA Innovation Labs since January 2020, Emiliano focuses on developing end-to-end NLP pipelines using advanced neural network architectures, particularly the transformer model. Previous roles at BBVA included work on deep learning applications and the design of an AI Reference Model. Emiliano's career also encompasses positions as Chief Technical Officer at Easycronos, cofounder of Digital ID Inc, and various senior consultancy roles in projects involving e-invoicing and corporate social networks. Emiliano holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Alcalá.
