Francisco Pedraza Bosi

Francisco Pedraza Bosi is an experienced professional in the field of risk management and financial advisory, currently serving as the Head of Provisions in Global Risk Management at BBVA since April 2011. In this role, Francisco leads the complete lifecycle of provisioning processes, focusing on the estimation and reporting of Expected Credit Losses (ECL), while also ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Prior to BBVA, Francisco held the position of Senior Manager at KPMG España from February 2005 to April 2011, where strategic advisory was provided to multinational corporations and financial institutions on M&A transactions and operational transformations. Earlier career roles include Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Analyst at Banco Santander, where involvement in Project & Asset Finance initiatives was emphasized. Francisco holds an Executive MBA from IESE Business School and has completed an Executive MBA module at China Europe International Business School, along with Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Law from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
