Manuel Sanchez-Fabres

Manuel Sanchez-Fabres has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as the Global Head of Cross-Border Business Coordination at BBVA since September 2003, with a strong focus on commercial banking and business development. Key accomplishments include exceeding 140% of customer acquisition goals over the past two years, managing portfolios for companies with annual sales ranging from 30 to 500 million euros, and overseeing global customer risk analysis and syndicated loan management. Earlier roles included positions as a commercial banking relationship manager, project manager, and financial advisor. In addition to banking, Manuel has taken on the role of mentor at Universidad de Salamanca since February 2024. Academically, Manuel holds multiple degrees, including an Executive Master in Finance and an M.B.A. from IE Business School, along with a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad de Salamanca.
