Diego de la Cal Martin

Diego de la Cal Martin is a Machine Learning Engineer at BBVA AI Factory since March 2023, with prior experience as Chief Data Officer and Machine Learning Ops Engineer at Saturno Labs, where innovative projects were developed in fields such as medicine and social services. Diego also contributed as an AI Research Scientist for Amazon, participating in the Alexa Prize Socialbot Challenge 4, and worked on machine learning models for real-time tracking at Life Supporting Technologies. In addition to technical skills, Diego has experience in fundraising and event organization through various roles in student associations. Diego holds a Master’s degree in Signal Theory and Communications with a focus on Machine Learning from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering.
