Michelle Claverol, Esq.

Michelle Claverol, Esq. has a diverse range of work experience in the legal field. Michelle is currently the Director of Claims & Insurance Litigation at BBX Capital Corporation since April 2017, where they manage claim portfolios for corporations involved in various industries. Prior to this, they worked as a Partner at Bronstein & Carmona, P.A. from 2013 to 2017, defending disputed insurance claims and overseeing the property insurance department. Michelle also served as an Attorney at Merlin Law Group, P.A. from 2009 to 2013, representing commercial policyholders in property insurance litigation. Michelle began their legal career as an Associate at Wood & Associates from 2007 to 2009. Before that, they worked as an Attorney in the Insurance Fraud Task Force/Organized Crime division at the Florida Department of Financial Services from 2005 to 2007. Michelle also gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk to Hon. Judge Jay A. Garcia-Gregory at the U.S. District Courts from 2004 to 2005. Throughout their career, Michelle has demonstrated their expertise in insurance litigation and effectively managing legal departments.

Michelle Claverol, Esq. pursued their education in law and environmental studies. Michelle completed their Juris Doctor degree in Law at Universidad de Puerto Rico, from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Planning from the University of Miami, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. During their undergraduate education, they also studied Sustainable Development and Resource Management at the University of East Anglia from 1997 to 1998, focusing on Environmental Science.
