David Mohammed has extensive experience in leadership and customer experience roles, currently serving as Chair of the Board of Directors for Credit Counselling Canada since May 2024. David has held various positions at BC Assessment since March 2008, including Director of Customer Experience and Manager of Assessment Operations. Throughout a long tenure with the Government of Alberta's Debtors Assistance Branch from March 2001 to May 2024, David was Chair of the Board of Directors and additionally acted as Past Chair and Board Director for Credit Counselling Services of Alberta during the same period. Previous board roles include past Chair and Board Director for Credit Counselling Canada from June 2002 to June 2017. David began a career in finance at General Electric as Regional Credit Manager from July 1989 to March 2008. Educationally, David holds a BBA with a double major in Business Finance and Economics from Simon Fraser University, completed in 1989.
