Alpamys Issanov

Alpamys Issanov is an experienced professional in population and public health with a diverse background in research and education. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at UBC School of Population and Public Health since September 2021, Alpamys also holds the position of Research Methodologist at BC Cancer and Associate Editor for both PLOS One and the Journal of Clinical Medicine of Kazakhstan. In addition to biostatistics roles at the Scientific Production Center of Blood Transfusion and the National Research Cardiac Surgery Center, Alpamys has contributed to academic policy as an analyst for the Graduate Student Society at UBC Vancouver. With a Doctorate in progress at UBC and previous degrees in public health and medicine, Alpamys has demonstrated a strong commitment to teaching and research in health methodologies and statistics.
