Jessica L. Jimmo, MPP, BSW, is an experienced advocate currently serving at the Community Legal Assistance Society since July 2025. Jessica has been a Patient Program & Policy Advisor volunteer at BC Cancer since July 2021, promoting patient experiences and guiding projects through an equity-centered framework. As a Municipal Council Outreach Coordinator volunteer for AccessBC, involvement includes securing no-cost universal access to prescription contraception in British Columbia. Jessica has held various volunteer roles, including Community Grant Committee Chair for the City of New Westminster and Community Resource Specialist at bc211. Past experience encompasses policy analysis with Indigenous Services Canada and advocacy within several non-profit organizations focused on social justice, legal rights, and community support. Jessica holds a Master of Public Policy from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Douglas College, alongside relevant diplomas in criminology and youth justice.
