Steidl Christian

Steidl Christian is a distinguished scientist at BC Cancer, holding multiple leadership roles including Associate Vice President Research and Executive Director Research since May 2006. Christian also serves as Research Director for the Centre for Lymphoid Cancer and was previously the Department Head of Lymphoid Cancer Research and a Senior Scientist at the BC Cancer Research Centre. In addition to responsibilities at BC Cancer, Christian has been a faculty member at The University of British Columbia since October 2011, progressing from Assistant Professor to Professor. Prior experience includes a residency in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Goettingen from April 2002 to April 2006. Christian earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Münster between 1996 and 2001 and completed secondary education at Ratgymnasium Bielefeld, obtaining a Hochschulreife from 1986 to 1994.
